Club Rules of Play
Doubles Rules:
Entry Fee: $10 - $9 into pot $1 to the course fund. Optional $1 Ace Pot, $1 birdie pot.
Birdie pot: 5 holes are picked randomly. If a group birdies all five holes they win the birdie pot. If more than one group gets the birdie pot they split it equally.
* Except at Buzzy’s - multiple groups getting the birdie pot push the pot.
Ace and birdie pots build. Once they reach $200 and second pot is started. Once the second pot reaches $200 the first pot continues to build. Only the first pot is available per week. Secondary pots roll to the following week if a pot is hit.
If the birdie pot is hit and one player is in the birdie pot and the other isn’t. Only half the pot will be paid out. Remaining money in the pot rolls into the secondary pot.
If the birdie pot is hit and one player is in the pot and the other player is in but a non-member , the split will be half the pot +$50. The remaining pot rolls into secondary pot.
“Cali” players are only eligible for half the birdie pot.
Club members are eligible for the entire pot.
Non club members are only eligible for $50 of the pot. Players that aren’t members before the round starts will only be eligible for $50. They can’t pay in after to obtain the entire pot.
Late arrival:
A player may notify someone at doubles that they be arriving late. Someone can put in a putter for the player arriving late and they will be assigned a partner.
The playing partner can play singles until the late player arrives.
Players showing up late (without a call) are forced to play singles. Not Cali.
They would only be eligible for half of the winnings. Left over money gets rolled into course funds.
Players that show up late without a call after the round has started will not be allowed to play as part of the doubles. They are not eligible for any of the pots.
Singles Play:
A player can optionally play singles against doubles teams. They get no extra shots. Entry fee is double. $5 x 2 =$10 plus $1 course. =$11. Optional birdie and ace. Only half the birdie pot is available for singles players.
Weather:
It’s up to the TD to make a call to suspend play. Play is suspended when you hear three long horn blasts. Players should seek shelter and remain in the area until they receive official word from the TD. Rounds that aren’t completed due to weather will be not count towards payout or pots. All players will be offered a refund.
Slow Play:
The TD determines if a group is playing to slow. If a group doesn’t finish because of slow play he/she may consider all other rounds complete. Making all other groups eligible for payouts and pots.
